Super Seedy Granola

Granola is such a simple and delicious recipe. It’s great for meal prepping for busy mornings or you can mix it up with yogurt and berries for a nice addition to Sunday morning breakfasts! With this recipe, we used spices like cinnamon, ginger and turmeric to give the granola a warming and wholesome feel, while adding flavour. 


Super Seedy Granola


Makes 3 ½ cups


  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free oats

  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds

  • ½ cup raw sunflower seeds

  • ⅓ cup unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 tablespoon Plain Jane or Brown Butter ghee, melted

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric

  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

  • ¼ cup hemp seeds

  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup


  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.

  2. Add the oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut, ghee, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric and salt into a large bowl and stir until combined.

  3. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes

  4. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with hemp seeds and drizzle with maple syrup.

  5. Allow to cool completely before transferring to a container. Granola will keep for 3 months, unrefrigerated.
