Lee's Chaga-Prash Ghee Energy Balls
These energy balls taste just like chocolate, only they are packed with healthy goodness and have no refined sugar. Sweetened naturally with dates, they incorporate Chaga-Prash and raw cacao powder which provide a mega-dose of antioxidants, adaptogens and healthy fats which give you energy to fuel your day. I aim to make a batch per week, and like to have them on hand when a hunger pang strikes. With ingredients this pure, you can even have them for breakfast!
- 8 Medjool dates, pitted
- 2 tablespoons almond butter (or other nut/seed butter)
- 1 tablespoon Chaga-Prash, plus more to coat
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Form the dough into 10 evenly-sized balls. Sift cacao powder through a fine mesh sieve to coat the balls. Refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
